No. A donation goes through the same CHIP checkout as a ticket, without issuing one.

We already use DonorCARE. Does this replace it?

No. DonorCARE is the CARE family's donation platform for organisations that raise all year. TicketCARE takes donations at your events; joining the two is planned.
